Participation of RIPTAA in ‘Romancing Print’ Seminar at Malda
RIPTAA participated in the one-day National Seminar on ‘Romancing Print’ organized by All India Federation of Masters Printers (AIFMP) and West Bengal Master Printers Association (WBMPA) at BM Grand Hotel, Malda on 8 March 2026. The seminar was inaugurated by Shri Krishnendu Narayan Chowdhury, Chairman, Malda Municipal Corporation. Shri Sanjay Kumar Dey, President WBMPA, Dr. Sarat Chandra Singh, Vice President – East, AIFMP, and Shri Sunil Khurana, Secretary, WBMPA, were present on the dais.
Shri Firoz Sardar and Shri Gautam Seal, invited speakers from RIPTAA, delivered an audio-visual presentation on the ‘Present scenario of printing in India’ and discussed future print opportunities in Malda. Over 120 printers from Malda and surrounding districts attended the seminar along with members from WBMPA.
RIPTAA brings together alumni, students, and industry professionals to encourage knowledge sharing, professional interaction, and long-term engagement with the printing and graphic technology community.
The Regional Institute of Printing Technology Alumni Association was formed in the year 1986. Since then every student who graduates from this esteemed institution becomes an associate member of the association.
